Power Outages in Prince George's County

Information from the City Manager: There are still power outages in Prince George’s County. Everyone who is still without power needs to contact PEPCO at 1-877-PEPCO-62 and report the outage immediately, even if you have already done so. Do not assume that PEPCO knows you are without power because a neighbor or someone near you probably called. Otherwise PEPCO will assume that the power outage affects only one individual customer which means that resolution of the problem will be moved further down the response chain. Please encourage everyone who is still experiencing a power outage to unplug all major appliances, computers, televisions, etc. to avoid a power surge and possible fire damage when power is restored. Please forward this information to your neighbors and to any list servs, etc. so that the information reaches as many residents as possible. This notice shall also be posted to the City's web site and broadcast on our two cable channels.
